Measuring the Business Impact of Social Media Marketing [INFOGRAPHIC]

Over 700 marketeers recently conducted a Research using the social media Management Platform of Wildfire Interactive. According to the research report, Facebook is the dominant medium in Social Media Marketing with 94% of respondents using for their Marketing efforts but Twitter with a 74% usage for Marketing  was also not lagging behind.

Here are how the other options scored in comparison:

  • Blogs, 41 percent;
  • LinkedIn, 32 percent;
  • YouTube, 30 percent; and
  • Other, six percent.

Additionally, Wildfire also reported that almost 70% of marketers in the survey believe Facebook  fans are of more value to them than non-fans, and the top three reasons they cited were:

  • New customer recruitment, 44%;
  • Higher conversion rates, 18%;
  • More frequent purchases, 18%.
