Ufone Becomes Pakistan’s First Telecom Brand to Reach 1 Million Fans

With fun and quirky TVCs, Ufone has been able to capture the hearts of many Pakistanis, even those that may not be active Ufone users, which counted to 114.61 Million Users in January 2012. It was only last week that Ufone reached the milestone of becoming the First Telecom Brand in Pakistan to reach a Million Fans on its Facebook Page. The page primarily puts across Ufone’s TVCs and has recently been posting pictures of places in Pakistan which are worth a go. These posts direct fans towards the brand’s idea: PAKISTAN – Tum he to ho and have been generating shares/conversation on the page.
Upon this achievement, the brand has introduced ‘Thanks a Million Competition’ which gives Ufone fans a chance to win over 3000 prizes. The prizes include Android Phones to be given away to ten winners, unlimited calls to another 1,000 winners, Free SMS and GPRS to another 1,000 winners and unlimited missed calls notifications to 1,000 winners. To participate and win these prizes all one has to do is answer simple Ufone related trivia and questions asked on Ufone’s official Facebook Page and give in the answers on the Application.
