Tetra Pak- Spreading the real Eid essence

Eid has come to a blissful end. For most of us, it must have been exactly what we wanted it to be: friends, family and eidi. But what about those, who can’t have the Eid they want? Well, at least one brand decided to make use of social media in a more selfless manner to help the unfortunate. Tetra Pak launched an exciting Eid campaign known as “Package for smiles”. The campaign directed towards the children at SOS and everyone pitched in.  Tetra Pak, required us to play a short and simple game which was literally lasted 45 seconds; even your little niece could ace it. Upon completion of the game, the participant got a chance to add a personalized message which would then be printed on a gift package and sent to a child at SOS.

This year, Tetra Pak made a unique effort to spread the Eid essence. Other brands mostly use Eid to lure you into stocking their products, but this year Tetra Pak decided to be unique. The “Package for smiles” campaign lasted a week, and in this week 100 packages were delivered to the children at SOS.  The package contained several items including, chocolates, milk, cookies, juices, vermicelli and of course the personalized message that different people wrote for them.   It was a simple activity, which got ordinary people like us, to do something good. With the help of Tetra Pak, many of us were able to spread joy and happiness to those who need it the most.  So readers, as we enjoy our daily routines and occasions, it is important to not lose sight of such acts of kindness, as in the future these are the most rewarding ones. 1150976_604724872880957_1082603489_n
